Is a booster box of BT-11 worth opening?
On average, no: selling the cards from a BT-11 box would get you $61.47, 51% of the $121 it costs. A typical box gives $52.19 and only 6.5% of boxes get your money back. If you're after a specific card, buying it as a single is usually cheaper.
How reliable the rates are: fair (community estimate).

Where the numbers come from
The expected value adds up, for each rarity group, the copies in a box times the average price of its cards (the English card, with its TCGplayer price or, if there isn't one, Cardmarket's converted). The simulation opens 10,000 boxes with the same rates.
English wiki box breakdown (no stated sample): per box, 168 commons, 72 uncommons, 23 or 24 rares, 12 or 13 foil commons or uncommons, 6 Super Rares, 4 Campaign Rares and 1 or 2 alternative arts; per case, 4 Secret Rares and 20 alternative arts. No source splits the Super Rare alternative arts from the Secret Rare ones: they are shared out by card count. Campaign Rares and foil commons and uncommons (the catalog doesn't list them apart) don't count. Hits carry a ±25% range.
